Samsung Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy MO6 5G India launch announced

Samsung on Monday (February 24, 2025) announced the launch of Galaxy M16 and Galaxy 06 5G smartphones in India. The South Korean electronics major is expected to launch the M series phones, Galaxy M16 5G and the Galaxy M06 5G, in March.

Galaxy M16 5G is expected in mid segment while the Galaxy M06 could be for budget buyers.

“Both Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G will feature an all-new design with a refreshed colour palette and enhanced finish, making them visually appealing and trendy,” Samsung said.

Galaxy M16 5G may use a 6.7 inch AMOLED display with 90 Hz refresh rate. It can get a 5,000 mAh battery.

Samsung might use the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor in Galaxy M16 5G. It could make use of a 50 MP main camera along with two supportive lenses. A single front camera of 13 MP is also expected.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy MO6 5G is believed to use a similar size display, processor and battery as M16. In camera, it might get dual rear camera and an 8 MP front lens.

Both, Galaxy M16 and M06 5G are expected to arrive on Amazon in India along with availability at retail stores. The Notify me page already exists on the e-commerce portal.

“Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G will be sleek and lightweight. The two smartphones will come with segment-leading features, ensuring newer possibilities for every Indian,” the company added.
