Paytm on Tuesday (January 28, 2025) launched the ‘Receive Money QR Widget’ for Android users for receiving money directly from phone’s home screen without opening the Paytm app. This feature is already live for iOS users.
The One97 owned company also launched coin-drop sound for real-time notification of payments received.
To set the ‘Paytm QR Widget’ for receiving money on Android, the users need to tap on the profile icon in the top left to open the flyout menu, then tap on the “Add QR to Homescreen” button below your QR code.
Upon confirmation, the QR widget will be added to the phone’s home screen. Once you close the Paytm app, the QR widget will appear on the phone’s home screen.
