OpenAI announced the rollout of a GPT-4o mini-powered Advanced Voice Mode that all ChatGPT free users can preview.
“Starting today, we’re rolling out a version of Advanced Voice powered by GPT-4o mini to give all ChatGPT free users a chance to preview it daily across platforms. The natural conversation pace and tone are similar to the GPT-4o version while being more cost effective to serve,” posted OpenAI on X on February 26.
However, there will still be limits on free users when compared to Plus and Pro users.
In addition to this, OpenAI announced that an improved Deep Research tool would be rolling out to all ChatGPT Plus, Team, Edu, and Enterprise users.
At present, Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Edu users will have 10 Deep Research queries per month while Pro users will have 120 Deep Research queries per month.
